[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will be Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson, Kevin Garnett up front and the man in the middle Brook Lopez.

The Nets have now played back-to-back very solid games and are looking to turn a corner.  The Lopez injury could hurt tonight with Detroit’s big frontline but with the teams resurgence since the DWill return they might just be able to overcome it.

Andray Blatche is coming off a great game last night so he can more than adequately fill in for the big man if they decide to sit him.

Paul Pierce came off the bench for the second straight game and looked very comfortable in doing so.  he led the second unit on a couple of runs last night that impacted the outcome of the game.  If it works keep going to it.

[box]Injury News: Lopez hurt

Lopez has a sprained left ankle from last nights Clippers game and is listed as “questionable” tonight so Blatche would start if he couldn’t go.

Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Jason Terry (knee) will be out again.[/box]

PISTONS STARTERS

The Pistons starting lineup will be Brandon Jennings and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the backcourt with Josh Smith, Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond playing in the frontcourt.

Rodney Stuckey hurt the Nets and had a season-high 27 points in the last meeting when the Pistons beat the Nets in Brooklyn on Nov.24th.

Detroit is coming off three straight losses and two of those were blowouts at home.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

The Nets are looking for their fourth victory in their last five road games.

Joe Johnson scored a Nets career-high 34 points, including a career-high 8-10 three-pointers (both of those totals are Nets season-highs as well).

Andre Drummond leads the NBA in field goal percentage (62.4%).

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Lets go streaking

The Nets have the opportunity to turn their season around and really gain some confidence and momentum tonight if they can go to Detroit and grab a fourth straight win.Brook Lopez YES pic

The win last night at home against a very good and tired Clippers team is one thing but the next night going into Detroit and grabbing a road win against a slumping team would show some maturity and progress.

The Nets need to start piling up some wins and a fourth straight will inch them closer to that .500 mark by the time 2014 hits.
