[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup tonight will be  Shaun Livingston playing alongside Deron Williams in the backcourt with Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

Brooklyn got manhandled in every way imaginable last night at home against the Thunder and got blown out 120-95.

The defense and ball movement was horrendous from the opening tip and the poor body language told the story throughout the game as the Nets looked more like the team from November than the one from January that won 10 games.

They allowed the Thunder to shoot 64 percent from the field and in the process set an NBA record for futility with a mere 17 rebounds.  They were hammered 41-17 total on the boards and if they don’t rectify that tonight the same will happen against the Pacers.

[box]Injury News: AK47 has a sore calf still out. Blatche has sore left hip.

Andrei Kirilenko will once again be held out with a sore calf.

Andray Blatche left the game early after falling on his hip and is questionable for this game and likely will also be out.

PACERS STARTERS

The Pacers starting lineup will be George Hill and Lance Stephenson in the backcourt with Paul George, David West and  Roy Hibbert playing in the frontcourt.

Stephenson feels completely disrespected by not making the All-Star team and will surely be looking directly at Joe Johnson with his wrath tonight.

George had 24 points in a 96-91 win over the Nets on Nov. 9, and he and Stephenson finished with 26 apiece in a 103-86 victory Dec. 23.

The Pacers have alternated wins and losses over the last six games with their latest loss coming at home to the visiting Phoenix Suns.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

Brooklyn is looking to extend their season-high road winning streak to four games with a win tonight.

The Nets are trying to avoid a season series sweep by Indiana.

At 10-3 in January, the Nets registered their best winning percentage in the month of January in their NBA history (38 years).

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Share the damn ball

The Nets were sharing the ball very well during the month of January and racking up the assists in the process.  The ball movement was crisp and the open shots came with ease.

The last few games haven’t been so crisp and the assist numbers have been down and in turn they have lost two in a row.

If Brooklyn wants to have any chance of beating the Pacers in their building they have to get more than 17 rebounds, playing harder team defense and share the ball again.
