The starting lineup for Preseason Game 7 in Brooklyn tonight will be Shaun Livingston playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Paul Pierce, Andray Blatche and center Brook Lopez up front.

Kevin Garnett will get the night off to rest and get ready for the season opener.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

D-Will is a game-time decision

The NYPost is reporting that Deron Williams might see some action tonight in the last preseason game for Brooklyn.

This would be great news for Nets fans and it will give the Nets a barometer as to where Williams is and if he will indeed play in the opener.

The Nets beat the Heat last week in Brooklyn and looked very good doing so holding Miami to 62 points and playing very good defense.

Kidd will be continuing his long look at Blatche at the power forward alongside Lopez for some good stretches.

[box]“With Dray and Brook, two 7-footers, two talented guys who can play on the perimeter and also post up, Kidd said. “We kind of like that combination. But again, it’s just not the offensive end. We have to make sure the defensive end that those two can play together.”[/box]

HEAT STARTERS

The Heat starting lineup looks to be Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen in the backcourt with Shane Battier, Udonis Haslem and Chris Bosh playing in the frontcourt.

The Heat are also finishing up the preseason tonight so Lebron James will not see any action in this game.

Dwayne Wade did not play in the last game with Brooklyn but will see some limited minutes with this being the last game before the season opener.
