[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup tonight will be  Shaun Livingston playing alongside Deron Williams in the backcourt with Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The Nets on a big game in London by trouncing the Atlanta Hawks 127-110 with great shooting and even better defense.

The Nets improved to 6-0 in 2014 with Garnett in the lineup and have won six of their last seven overall.

Andray Blatche dropped an impressive 20-point, 14-rebound, 6-assist stat line, and was one of five Nets to score in double figures in London.

The game in New York today should be very different than the first time these two teams met in Brooklyn when the Knicks got players from the stands to hit 3-pointers all over the floor.

[box]Injury News: Great News

Deron Williams practiced fully on Sunday and proclaimed himself ready to play although Jason Kidd says he will be a game-time decision.[/box]

KNICKS STARTERS

The Knicks starting lineup will be Raymond Felton and Iman Shumpert in the backcourt with Carmelo Anthony, Andrea Bargnani and  Tyson Chandler playing in the frontcourt.

The Knicks are losers of three straight games after winning five in a row and they also lost two frontcourt players in the last game with ankle injuries in Kenyon Martin and Amare Stoudemire.

The Knicks have consistency been getting blown out by good teams and are a miserable 7-13 at home at the Garden.

Anthony had 26 points and 20 rebounds going 4-for-23 from the floor as New York opened an eight-game homestand losing to the Clippers which matches the longest homestand in franchise history.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

The Nets are currently 9-9 all-time on MLK Day.

The Nets’ 127 points were the most they’ve scored in a regulation road game since they scored 136 points at Charlotte 12/27/91.

New York hasn’t lost a season series versus the Nets since the 2006-07 season.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Get some revenge

The last time these two teams played, New York defeated Brooklyn 113-83 on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, the Nets were in the midst of a very bad stretch and were playing without passion and energy.

Times have changed and so have the directions that both teams are going.  The Nets are winners of six of their last seven games and playing much better with their new smaller lineup with Livingston starting at the point.

The last time these teams met it was a complete an utter debacle for Brooklyn as they watched the Knicks hit 16 3-pointers as they got routed on their home floor.

The Nets need to man-up and gets some damn revenge today at that other arena they like to talk about all of the time.
