[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup tonight will be  Deron Williams playing alongside Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The All-Star break is over and it’s time for the Brooklyn Nets to get back to work and get over the .500 mark during this 12 day circus road trip out West. There are 31 games left and every one will be crucial to the Nets playoff seeding.

It starts tonight as they visit the Utah Jazz after stumbling into the All-Star break with a 92-76 loss at Chicago where they shot a miserable 38.8 percent and got blown out again.

The time is now for the Nets to put a run together and make this west coast trip one to remember as Toronto has now moved 4 games ahead in the division.

JAZZ STARTERS

The Jazz starting lineup will be Trey Burke and Gordon Hayward in the backcourt with Richard Jefferson, Marvin Williams and  Derrick Favors playing in the frontcourt.

Utah is going after a fourth straight win overall and fifth consecutive against the Nets in Salt Lake City tonight.

The Jazz backcourt of Hayward and Burke has combined for 47 points on 14-of-53 (26.4 percent) shooting in the past two games.

Utah and Brooklyn met twice in 2012-13 with the Jazz sweeping the series so the Nets are looking for a little payback.

Game Notes:

Nets try to snap a three-game overall road losing streak as well as a four-game road losing streak at Utah.

The Nets put together a wire-to-wire 104-88 victory over the Jazz on November 5 at Barclays Center.

The Nets are just 8-31 at Utah all-time.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Get past the reunion

Deron Williams needs to put the past behind him tonight and get his new team on a roll with a win in Utah.

Put aside all of your feelings towards your old team and stick a dagger in them by leaving one game better than when you arrived.

This would be a great way to gain some confidence for the struggling franchise player who has, shockingly enough, told the media he is lacking confidence right now.

Maybe the familiar surroundings will get him to play the way he did when he was there in Utah.
