[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup will once again be different with Tyshawn Taylor playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson, Kevin Garnett up front and the man in the middle Brook Lopez.

[box]Injury News: No new additions to the list but same old same old.

Paul Pierce is out 2-to-4 more weeks with a broken hand.  Also, Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Jason Terry (knee) will be out again and will reevaluated Monday.  Deron
Williams (ankle) is out for this game as well an d no timetable has been set.

[/box] The Nets are coming off a blowout loss to the Nuggets which was their fifth straight at home so a win tonight would really help moral.

KNICKS STARTERS

The Knicks starting lineup will be Raymond Felton and Iman Shumpert in the backcourt with Carmelo Anthony, Kenyon Martin and Andrea Bargnani playing in the frontcourt.

The Knicks are in complete disarray right now and have their longest losing streak since 2006 on the line tonight in Brooklyn at nine games in a row.

There is infighting right now between players and are not able to finish games which is turning the situation from bad to ugly.

A win tonight might just salvage Mike Woodson’s job and settle down the masses with their pitchforks. [/quote_simple]
[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

The Nets’ have a five-game losing streak at Barclays Center.

The Knicks have lost nine straight games overall and did not win a home game in November.

In 2012, the Nets and Knicks split four meetings, with each team winning a home game and a road game in the season series.

Three of the four games were decided by single digits.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

MAKE A DAMN STATEMENT

The time is now for this Brooklyn Nets team to stand up and bow out their chests a little bit to let everyone know that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

A national audience is going to see what they are made of tonight against the “laughingstock” Knicks on TNT so do it…….and make a damn statement.

The season has been complete disaster to date so a win against the team with the “Land of misfit toys” in Manhattan would certainly help give myself and all Nets fans some hope. [/box]
