The starting lineup will be Deron Williams playing alongside Joe Johnson in the backcourt with Alan Anderson, Kevin Garnett up front and the man in the middle Brook Lopez.

The Nets played probably their best wire-to-wire win of the season with a 104-96 win at Barclays Center on Tuesday night and hope to build on that with another win hosting the Clippers tonight.

Paul Pierce looks like he will continue to come off the bench running with the second unit for the time being until he is fully healthy.  He has mentioned that he will do whatever is best for the team and that is a positive sign.

[box]Injury News: No new news

Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Jason Terry (knee) will be out again.

Terry looks to be a bit closer to game action and has appeared at practice this week.[/box]

CLIPPERS STARTERS

The Clippers starting lineup will be Chris Paul and Willie Green in the backcourt with Jared Dudley, Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan playing in the frontcourt.

The Clippers are 3-2 on their current seven-game road trip and are coming off back-to-back wins in beating the Sixers and the Celtics.

Griffin and Jordan have their work cut out for them tonight with a blistering hot Lopez who comes in hitting 21 of his last 26 shots and scoring 56 points in the last two games.

[quote_simple][box]Game Notes:

The Nets have won 5 straight at home against the Clippers and have won 13 out of the last 14 as well.

Nets have a 32-8 all-time record against the Clippers at home which is the best against any team.

Brooklyn is looking for their first three-game winning streak of the season.

[box]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

Head of the snake is back

The leader of the Nets is back and DWill looked to be ready to roll in his first game back scoring a game-high 25 points and dishing out seven assists in the Nets win over the Celtics.Brook Lopez YES pic

The energy level was higher than any game this year and there were many times the Nets looked lost until DWill picked up the pace and dragged his teammates to a win.

The ability to have a guy who can make a shot or create one for someone else every time he touches the ball is immeasurable.

“He’s the head of the snake,” said Pierce. “I mean he’s one of the most important pieces of what we’re trying to do here, what we’re trying to build and trying to win a championship.”
