[quote_simple]NETS STARTERS
The starting lineup tonight will be  Deron Williams playing alongside Shaun Livingston in the backcourt with Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce up front and the man in the middle Kevin Garnett.

The Nets look to win their fourth consecutive home game as well as extending their winning streak against the Bobcats to five tonight.

Brooklyn is coming off a home win over the Pelicans on Sunday where they put together one of their best first half performances of the season holding New Orleans to 28 points.

The All-Star break is almost here and the Nets can’t look past this game as the Bobcats have been playing well lately and they are currently in the 8th seed right behind the Nets looking to gain a game.

Reggie Evans will miss the next two games due to personal reason.

BOBCATS STARTERS
The Bobcats starting lineup will be Kemba Walker and Gerald Henderson in the backcourt with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Josh McRoberts and  Al Jefferson playing in the frontcourt.

Charlotte as won four of their last six games and are looking to build momentum going into the break with a solid road win in Brooklyn.

The Bobcats shot a season-best 54.9 percent shooting 12 for 24 from 3-point range in a 114-89 rout of Dallas on Tuesday in Charlotte.

Al Jefferson is playing very well dropping 30 points on 14-of-23 shooting vs Dallas and moved within 1 1/2 games of the seventh-place Nets in the Eastern Conference.

Game Notes:

The Nets dropped their first meeting 95-91 in Charlotte on 11-20-13.

Brooklyn is 10-1 this season when Andrei Kirilenko plays.

The Nets are 9-2 since the start of January at home after starting the season 6-9 at Barclays Center.

[quote_simple]WHAT TO LOOK FOR

FOCUS

The Nets visit Chicago on Thursday for their last game before the All-Star break and don’t want to look past this pesky Bobcats team who is playing well right now.

The starters for the Nets certainly need to step their game up after not a single starter scored in double figures in the win over the Pelicans.

This game will be tougher than many think as Charlotte is starting to understand how to play with Jefferson and the strong play of Walker always seems to affect Deron Williams every time they play.

With the Nets only being three games below .500 this will turn out to be a very big game tonight.
