GAME NOTES:
If the Nets win it will be the second straight series the Nets and their opponent split the first two games before heading back to Brooklyn for Games 3 and 4.
Joe Johnson scored 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-6 3PT FG) in 32 minutes, marking his seventh game in this year’s playoffs with 17+ points.
Nets are looking for their second postseason road win at Miami in team history.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Steal one on the road
The mission is simple. Do what you came to Miami to do and that is to win one of the two games and bring it back to Brooklyn tied 1-1.
The Nets didn’t look very good on defense in Game 1 and the Heat took advantage of it as they hammered them 62-28 in point in the paint.
Paul Pierce needs to show up tonight and bring that swagger to the game that the Nets need to ignite them so they know they can win.
Look for Brooklyn to play inspired and desperate enough to grab a Game 2 win on the road and make this a series.
