The Brooklyn Nets continue to do everything possible to help this team get over the hump and have now officially sent Jason Terry and Reggie Evans to the Sacramento Kings for Marcus Thornton.
This deal has been rumored for a couple of days but word is now out that that the two teams have agreed in principle to the trade.
Thornton is averaging 8.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game with the Kings in limited action this season although he can score when needed and would be an upgrade to both Terry and Evans. He currently makes $8.05M this season and $8.575M next season.
Sacramento and Brooklyn have reached an agreement in principle on the three-player trade, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

The Nets look as if they have no regard for the salary cap and the tax accessed with it and I really don’t mind right now.
I have now seen Reggie Evans get his last 3-second violation as a Brooklyn Net and got a younger scoring guard who averages 13 points a game to come off the bench.
