The Nets lost 83-82 at Chicago the Saturday night.  The Nets shot a putrid 38.7 percent while committing 18 turnovers and gave a game away to the Chicago Bulls that was there to take on the road.  Road wins in the NBA are crucial and the Nets “literally” turned the game over to the Bulls and end a two-game win streak.

“Had we done a better job of taking care of the ball, especially down the stretch, we could have come out on the winning end,” coach Avery Johnson said.

Deron Williams will of course be motivated for this game as it is against his former team the Utah Jazz. Williams spoke about his early season struggles and the different system the Nets run compared to the old Utah offense he ran.

“I believe I can adapt to anything. We’re still a young team. Things don’t happen overnight. It’s still just December.”

The Nets need this win to get the bad taste out of their mouth from the “giveaway” game against the Bulls on Saturday and also to get tuned up for their meeting with the Knicks tomorrow night.
