Indiana Pacers (23-14) @ Brooklyn Nets (21-15)

Barclays Center 6:00

The Nets are looking for a season high six wins in a row today when they host the red-hot Indiana Pacers at the Barclays Center at 6pm.  The Nets are coming off a solid come from behind victory over the Phoenix Suns on Friday night and will have some players missing from this big game.

Gerald Wallace will not play due to the hard foul he took from the Suns PJ Tucker with bruised ribs and the Nets went out and brought in a familiar face, Damion James,  to help at the small forward position in Wallace’s absence.  James was signed to a 10-day contract by GM Billy King and will be a much-needed body with all of the injuries the Nets are dealing with.   Keith Bogans will get the start in place of Wallace and the rest of the lineup should be the same if Deron Williams can play with that sore quad.

The Pacers are coming in winners of six of their last seven after defeating the Charlotte Bobcats 96-88 at home on Saturday night.  They played without Paul George in that game and may very well have to do so again tonight in Brooklyn.

Williams is one of the main benefactors of the Nets recent coaching change and he knows it can only make the Nets stronger.  “I think we went through some bumps and some rough patches, you know, which taught us,” Williams said. “We are jelling a little bit more now.”

Matchup of the Game: Reggie Evans vs David West

Reggis Evans has been a rebounding machine as of late and will certainly have his hands full with the multi-talented David West who just came off the first triple-double of his career.  West will try to be that distributor again tonight with Paul George probably going to miss the game with the flu.  West can score on the block and also be a tough inside presence so Evans will have to stay out of foul trouble and keep him under control if the Nets want to win their sixth in a row.
