The Nets are looking to put the last loss of the year, 104-73 to the San Antonio Spurs behind them,  and begin the new year with a bang.  The Nets travel to Oklahoma City tonight to face the Thunder on their home court where they are 16-2 so far this season.

Brooklyn had 18 turnovers and 14 assists while making 37.8 percent from the field – including an abysmal 2-for-20 effort in a franchise low five point third quarter in a 104-73 lo0ss on New Years Eve to San Antonio

“It was bad all the way around – offensively and defensively,” Williams said. “We just couldn’t put the ball in the basket. We couldn’t get stops. We turned the ball over in the quarter.”

Deron Williams will have to play much better for the Nets to have a shot at this game as well as a good rest of the season and the excuses have to stop.
