GAMENIGHT

Brooklyn Nets (9-4) @ Boston Celtics (8-6)

Barclays Center 7:30

TV: TNT/NBATV – RADIO: WFAN 660AM

The Celtics are not happy at all that the Brooklyn Nets are getting “all the pub” lately and want to make a statement to the Nets that the division runs through them as it has in past years.

The Nets last beat the Celtics on November 15th – 102-97 although the Celtics played without Rajon Rondo while the Nets were led by their own “Big Three” starting with  Brook Lopez (24 points, six rebounds, 11-for-14 shooting).  The Nets all-star backcourt of Deron Williams and Joe Johnson also played well to the tune of 43 points and 12 assists even though they did not shoot well going a combined for 12-36 (33 percent) from the floor.  The Big Three of Brooklyn totaled 67 points in the last meeting between the teams so you know Boston is conscious of this and more effort will be given to stop them.

This should be a knock down drag out game tonight so don’t miss a minute of the action.
