Lopez Says He Is 100% Healthy And Ready

The man in the middle for the Brooklyn Nets might just be the most important piece to the Nets upcoming season.

The health of center Brook Lopez is crucial to the Nets realizing their potential and making a run at the championship.

Lopez said his surgically repaired right foot is 100 percent healthy at an NBA Cares event in Brooklyn this past weekend.

The versatile big man is coming off the first All-Star appearance of his career and needs to keep improving on his shot blocking and defensive presence to be that stalwart at the back end of the defense.

If Lopez can anchor the middle alongside new addition Kevin Garnett the Nets will be a dramatically better defensive team this year which means bad news for Eastern conference foes.
