The Brooklyn Nets have  just announced that Joe Johnson is battling an illness and will be a game-time decision for tonight’s game in Boston.

This is not good news for the Nets as they are already going to be without the services of Kevin Garnett (back spasms) who did not even make the trip although they still should have enough to beat the lowly Celtics.

Johnson had a great game Wednesday night when the Nets crushed the Memphis Grizzlies 103-94 and Johnson seemed to have found his scoring touch again as he dropped 21 points and hit 5-of-7 from deep to go with four assists.

He has been dealing with a broken finger on his shooting hand for a few weeks but seems to be getting into his normal flow again.
