Garnett and Pierce Won't Return To Boston Just Yet

[box]The Brooklyn Nets play their next preseason game tomorrow night against a familiar foe in the Boston Celtics and there will be two particular players that wont be seeing any action.

Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett will not be playing in their return to Boston as they would rather make their on-court return to Boston on January 26th.

Jason Kidd reiterated this to the media this past weekend and both players don’t seem to have a problem with his decision.

[quote_box]“As of right now, those two won’t play in that game,” Kidd said. “They got their work in, and throughout the week they’ll get their work, but they won’t participate in Boston.”[/quote_box]

It just seems a bit easier to me if they don’t even travel with the team but I understand if they do to build camaraderie and cheer on their teammates.

[quote_box]Pierce commented briefly saying , “I’d rather do it once than twice.” [/quote_box]

Jason Terry is expected to make his Nets debut on Wednesday in Boston and also play Friday against Miami.[/box]
