GAME 1: Nets 105 – Celtics 121

DEBACLE is the only word that can describe the Brooklyn Nets defense and all around game on Wednesday night in Beantown.  The rebuilding Boston Celtics manhandled them right from the opening tip and it was downright ugly all game long.

STAT OF THE GAME:

The Celtics ran a layup drill and shot an incredible 56% from the floor and racked up 62 points in the paint.

The Nets defense left a lot to be desired and if they don’t get on the same page quickly they will be out of the hunt for the Atlantic division by the end of November.

STATS:

LEADING SCORERS:

Mirza Teletovic – 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting and 4-for-6 from deep

Kelly Olynyk – 19 points on 8-for-14 shooting and he grabbed seven rebounds

PLAYER OF THE GAME:

Rajon Rondo – 13 points, 12 assists and 7 rebounds
