The Brooklyn Nets defeated by the Toronto Raptors by a score of 97-83  in Brooklyn to take Game 6 and tie the series at 3-3.

Rundown:

The Nets came out looking to get Joe Johnson involved and it worked as he and Paul Pierce both scored nine points to lead Brooklyn in the first quarter.  The Nets outscored the Raptors 22-4 in points in the paint in the first and at the end of one the Nets lea the Raptors 34-19 behind 68% shooting and 34-10 edge in points in the paint.  Deron Williams was much more aggressive in the first half and had 12 points and three assists. Alan  Anderson was put in the starting lineup and he paid immediate dividends with great defense and seven points and six rebounds in the first half as the Nets led 60-41 at half behind hot 59% shooting.

The third quarter began with Williams turning his ankle just a few minutes after halftime but he stayed in the game and played through it.  Brooklyn continued its great defense and intensity to lead 79-59 after three.  The Raptors did exactly what the Nets did to them Wednesday night and ran off a 14-5 run to start the fourth to get the lead down to 84-73 with six minutes to play.  Garnett and Williams both hit big shots to end the run and put the Nets in position to finish off the game without any further drama.
