Brooklyn Nets: NO MORE EXCUSES

The Brooklyn Nets are on the brink just seven games into the new season and it is no one’s fault but themselves that they are 2-5 and have not won a single road game in four tries.

Last nights effort and lack of execution was horrific and unacceptable due to the fact that they knew how big this road trip was coming off lackluster performances in three of their last four games.

I don’t know what to say other than maybe they are not as good in reality as they should be or look like on paper.

This is a major problem for this veteran laden team and for the new head coach Jason Kidd.

Kidd better find a way to get through to these guys quickly or he will be on the hot seat faster than Avery Johnson ever was.

I could not even watch the second half of this game last night as it was mind numbing to watch this debacle take place in the first half alone.

The comments by Jason Terry sum up the situation perfectly.

WHAT DO THEY DO FROM HERE:

The Nets have to look directly in the mirror and understand that each and every team they play will be gunning for them as they have been the media darlings since the summer and to beat the Nets will be a statement win for most teams.

Enough with all of the “patience” and “it will take time to gel” lingo and get the job done.

No one in Brooklyn or any fan of this team expected this type of start with the talent and leadership on this team.

Wake up Nets and get your act together or you will soon be thought of in the same light as that team across town that is a complete laughingstock.
