Brooklyn Nets Andrei Kirilenko Might Actually Play Tonight

Some semi-good news came out of Brooklyn Nets practice yesterday when “the missing piece” Andrei Kirlenko told reporters that he feels good after a 5-on-5 drills and if he has no setbacks he will play in San Antonio.
This news could be great for the struggling Nets who want to put 2013 behind them and start fresh with the swiss army knife they call AK47 in the new year.
[quote_box]”I will try to bring some spark, some energy, especially coming from the bench,” Kirilenko said. “I don’t think I’m going to play a lot of minutes, especially in the beginning. Just bring those hustle plays — I think that’s what we need.”[/quote_box]
He has missed a crazy 26 games this season and the Nets have only played 30 games total.
Of course if he does play his minutes will be limited but a limited AK47 is better than no AK47 in my mind.
Kirilenko went through a full 5-on-5 practice. Says if he has no setbacks in the morning he think he will be able to play some tomorrow nite

Kirilenko doesn’t expect to play a lot of minutes, but his presence — if he can go — would obviously help the Nets. — Tim Bontemps (@TimBontemps) December 30, 2013
Kirilenko said rash of injuries around the league is is result of faster game than 10 years ago. Nets, meanwhile, are injured and slow.
