AUDIO: Billy King discusses Jason Collins historic Nets debut vs Lakers

Last night Jason Collins made his historic debut as the first openly gay professional athlete to play in the NBA when he entered the game in the second quarter for the Brooklyn Nets.

Nets GM Billy King spoke to ESPN’s Mike & Mike Show this morning to talk about the signing of Collins and what it  means to the Nets and the NBA in general.

The Nets defeated the Lakers 108-100 to break an 11-game losing streak to Los Angeles.
