Andray Blatche citizenship in Philippines is now official

The process of granting citizenship to the American-born Andray Blatche is now final as President Benigno Aquino III signed the law on Wednesday enabling Blatche to play for the national team in the FIBA World Cup this year
The President’s signature was the final hurdle in allowing Blatche to become a dual citizen of the Philippines.
The FIBA World Cup begins August 30th 2014 and the Philippines is in Group B.
